Cartridge systems simplify installation of push-fit connectors

John Guest presents a simple and cost effective way of incorporating push-fit connections into a wide range of original equipment.

With a heritage of over 50 years John Guest has gained worldwide recognition as a global leader in the manufacturing of engineering push-fit connections designed to meet the needs of product designers and manufacturers.

The John Guest push-fit cartridge system is an OEM product that can be applied by designers to both volumetric and bespoke products for use in plumbing, drinks & food, pure water, air control, fibre optic connections, chemical delivery, automotive and white goods systems-applied to meet the standards of both domestic European and international markets.

Cartridges are effective means for designers to incorporate a push-fit port into their product, whether it is a custom housing or manifold arrangement.

The great feature of cartridges is that they can be applied in a 3D – 360 degree orientation which means that pipe connection and lie can be designed to fit very tight space envelopes.

The cartridge requires a compact 3-core section to be moulded or machined; this then allows the cartridge to be pushed into place either manually or by use of automatic assembly equipment.

John Guest cartridges are currently available in metric and imperial sizes ranging from 3/16inch to 1/2inch and 3mm to 22mm.
