In its drive towards continual quality improvement Norgren Lichfield has achieved registration to the demanding automotive quality standard TS16949. This standard has been introduced in a move to align existing automotive quality standards around the world and specifies the quality system requirements for the design/ development, production, installation and servicing of automotive-related products. Giving manufacturers greater access to the global automotive industry, the standard is intended to provide a common approach to a Quality Management System to satisfy applicable customer specific requirements. Automotive is a key sector for Norgren and gaining the standard is a positive step forward in the company’s drive towards operational excellence.
