A peristaltic metering pump for high accuracy applications

Watson-Marlow Pumps has introduced a larger version of its Qdos 30 peristaltic metering pump - the Qdos 60, which expands the range to incorporate flow rates from 0.1 to 1,000 ml/min at 7bar.

This drop-in pump requires no pulsation dampener, strainers or float switches, nor does it require any de-gassing, back-pressure or foot valves. It is a very low maintenance product since there are no seals or valves in the flow path to clog, leak or corrode, and there’s no opportunity for vapour lock.

In addition, Watson-Marlow’s patented ReNu pumphead technology provides a single, safely contained component for rapid maintenance without the need for tools. Pumphead removal is quick and straightforward, and requires no specialist training or technicians.

Intuitive operation is facilitated via a menu-driven interface featuring a 3.5in TFT colour display with high visibility status indication. The keypad and display are positioned for easy access, along with input and output connections.

The high suction lift and viscous handling capabilities of the Qdos 60 eliminate the need for flooded suction, day tanks and specialist piping schemes.
