Caps Enhance Fastener Appearance And Stop Corrosion

Korrex protective caps from Challenge Industrial Fastenings are supplied in two forms: protective caps for socket head screws, and nut caps for hexagon nuts, which convert them to dome nuts. They can also be used for hexagon headed bolts and set screws. The polypropylene caps provide a clean, aesthetic appearance to finished products and also help to protect fasteners against corrosion or unwanted paint application during manufacture. Caps for socket head screws are available in metric sizes M5 to M22 and imperial 3/16in to 7/8in. Grey and green are the standard colours, but other colours can be supplied to order. Nut caps are available in black, white and grey, in a range of sizes from M4 to M36 or 5/32in to 1 3/8in. Back to Fasteners and Adhesives October 2000 Back to Fasteners and Adhesives Archive
