HBM adds new products to its industrial measurement amplifier series

The PX460 amplifier plug-in card can acquire up to four torque transducers simultaneously with a measuring bandwidth of up to 6kHz. In addition to torque, encoder signals of up to 2MHz can be acquired with absolute precision in challenging industrial environments.

The PMX is TEDS equipped, so it automatically recognises connected transducers. This removes the need to manually enter complex settings.

Also new from HBM is an improved version of its CMD600-P digital charge amplifier that now features IP65 protection for challenging industrial environments.

The compact CMD600-P can be positioned directly at the measuring point to measure forces or torque in extremely tough and often dirty environments. A fast Ethernet interface enables users to easily parameterise the device and monitor it during operation.

The CMD600-P also features integrated peak value detection and limit value monitoring functions enabling control functions to be distributed across decentralised devices, thus relieving pressure on the central control unit.

It is also possible for the system to continue operating, monitoring and even remote maintenance while parameter changes, such as changes in measuring range or limit value monitoring, are being implemented.
