Unmanaged switches in rugged, IP67 rated metal housings

TREE series Ethernet switches from Murrelektronik come with four or eight M12 ports and are suitable for applications in harsh industrial environments.

Suitable for interconnecting machines in a star topology, the new IP67 switches are immune to EMC interference, are resistant to vibration and have an operating temperature range of -25°C to 60°C.

The four or eight (illustrated) M12 connections (d-coded) support transfer rates of 10 or 100MBit/s - the devices automatically detect which rate is currently needed. VLAN tagged Profinet frames always have right of way, and are automatically prioritised in the network traffic.

As TREE67 switches are unmanaged, they do not need to be configured, so devices can be connected in a 'plug-and-play' manner. An auto-crossing function automatically detects which cables are connected to the ports, thus avoiding wiring errors.

Other features include power supply redundancy and integral LED indicators that provide switch status, data rate and indication of other operating conditions.
