Captec's new tablet caters for needs of large groups of users

Captec's new X220 semi-rugged 10.1in tablet and TCS (tablet charging station) allow large numbers of users to use tablet computers, reducing the usual problems caused by storing and charging numerous devices in one place.

Up to twenty of the tablets can be charged at the same time between and, if required, during operational hours when used with the TCS. This equips users with constant quick access to charged devices, without the hassle of using cables or power outlets.

An ergonomic and innovative design allows users to carry the devices using an easy-grip handle, while an integrated stand allows it to be positioned for ideal viewing on a desk or bench.

The X220 is suitable for use as a workflow tablet; it is compatible with the majority of Windows 7 software for business, enabling compatibility with many existing software applications.

The X220 bridges the gap between commercial and specialised rugged tablets, with a robust design specified for rough handling.
