Test clip makes tapping busbars quick and safe

Tapping busbars can be carried out quickly and safely with the new flat test clip from Multi-Contact. The Grip-FMA has a Multilam in each jaw, ensuring low contact resistance even on busbars that are lacquered on one side.

The jaws open to a maximum of 12mm and are clamped into position using the pressure grip handle. A typical use is for synchronising standby power units.

The Grip-FMA is rated at 1,000V, CAT IV and 32A and accepts a 4mm safety lead. To maintain the CAT IV rating, appropriately rated leads should be used.

Multilam is a proprietary contact system from Multi-Contact that uses torsion spring contact elements to produce multiple contact points and ensure low contact resistance and high reliability.
