The CMOS sensing method achieves high-precision measurement of objects normally deemed impossible using the conventional PSD method. For example, objects with non-reflective surfaces such as black rubber or metal surfaces with hairline cracks can be sensed reliably and precisely by the HL-G series sensor.
The laser sensor’s lightweight body, with integrated processing and I/O, means it can be mounted on the moving parts of a machine, avoiding the need for remote controllers.
The sensors include a digital display that indicates the displacement value and allows adjustment of settings on site. Using the Panasonic GT touch panel enables remote checking and modification of the sensor's settings.
