Rolec extends aluCASE diecast enclosures range

Rolec’s tough and versatile aluCASE enclosures range, which feature clip-on covers to conceal the fixing screws, has been extended to include four new sizes.

There are now 27 sizes of aluCASE available, ranging from 75 x 50 x 33mm to 430 x 300 x 120mm.

The four new larger sizes are:
- 280 x 250 x 120 mm
- 380 x 250 x 120 mm
- 330 x 300 x 120 mm
- 430 x 300 x 120 mm.

Base sections from the four new aluCASE sizes are common with Rolec’s commandCASE range which features distinctive ‘wings’ for suspension arm applications.

The enclosures are tough, available sealed to IP66, IP67, IP69K and can be fitted to walls, machines and bulkheads.

Cases can be installed with the lid closed to help protect the seal and the electronics inside. The stainless steel screws are concealed by aluminium or ABS clip-on covers.

For installation and servicing, the lid is held in place by polypropylene retaining straps, removing the need for hinges.

Options include transparent polycarbonate lids, integrated hinges (with no visible fixing screws), a key lock and EMC shielding.

The standard colour for aluCASE is grey (RAL 7040) but other colours are available on request (16 colours are held in stock and can be specified at no extra cost).

Prices for aluCASE start at £18.50. Customising options include CNC milling and drilling; silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos; removal of PCB pillars to create extra space; assembly of cable glands and other components.
