Applications for stainless steel hinges are increasing as more equipment is installed in harsher/wash down environments. EMKA's offering is the Program 1110 range with a new quick fit AISI 316 hinge having an integral earth terminal. The 1110-U5-NPH is a twin stainless casting with slide-in door fit to accommodate a 20mm return offering increased strength and 180° opening. This is ideal for stainless steel doors on in-line suite arrangements, e.g. for offshore applications, outdoor situations or food/pharmaceutical plants. The integral earth terminal aids door to panel bonding and simplifies door removal if required.
