Using Emparro67, the voltage is converted from 230Vac to 24Vdc in the vicinity of the load, so voltage losses are minimised and the energy costs are reduced.
Installing the power supply units outside the cabinet offers a number of benefits: smaller cabinets can be used, and in some applications it may even be possible to eliminate cabinets altogether.
Emparro67's compact and rugged metal housing is fully potted and IP67 sealed against dust and moisture ingress. The units offer 92.4 percent efficiency and are capable of working in ambient temperatures of 85°C.
Emparro67 also provides a power boost function, enabling it to supply up to 150 percent of the nominal current for a period of up to 4 seconds.
