Goss Springs ramps up Quality Control at new Epping site

Goss Springs has established a dedicated Quality Control laboratory at its new site in Epping following the company's recent move.

Equipping this new facility has entailed investment in precision measurement instrumentation, including a new MicroStudio vision-based spring measurement system, which is capable of providing full statistical process control of parameters such as spring diameter and squareness.

Serving the defence, aerospace and automotive markets, Goss Springs has been working hard in terms of quality systems development. Director, Daniel Goss, who has been overseeing progress in this area says that the company's achievement of ISO/TS16949 (Automotive) and AS9100 (Aerospace) accreditation clearly mark it out as a supplier led by quality.

The company is now seeking to implement full traceability reporting for its more demanding clients.
