Sine wave inverters from Powersolve provide up to 4,500VA

Powersolve's new PJN series of dc/ac inverters provide up to 4,500VA from a 40-60Vdc input, making them suitable for 48V telecoms systems.

There are five models in the PJN Series with a design based on the latest high efficiency Sinusoidal PWM (SPWM) inversion technology and all incorporating an energy-saving ECO working mode.

All models provide 230Vac ±2% (±15% in ECO Mode) with models offering 1,000, 1,500, 2,000, 3,000 and 4,500VA power output. The 3kVA unit is available with optional N+1 redundancy. Output frequency is 50Hz ±0.5%

Other key features include front-end maintenance, alarms for battery low and inverter failure and protection against over-voltage, overload, short-circuit, over-temperature and utility bypass. Front panel LEDs indicate inverter, battery and fault conditions while an RS232 interface provides communications.

The 1,000VA and 1,500VA units are housed in a 1U high 19in rack enclosure. The 2,000VA and 3,000VA are 2U while the 4,500VA comes in a 440 x 440 x 3U case. The ac input connector is via screw terminals while output connection is via IEC and screw terminals.

The PJN series meets all relevant safety and EMC standards.
