Carlo Gavazzi has introduced a compact laser sensor with fine light spot
and integral 'teach-in' function for the reliable detection of small
details or components down to 2mm, over a sensing distance of 20-60mm.
The teach-in background suppression function allows the device's
sensitivity to be adjusted so that it can distinguish small approaching
objects from their surroundings, even in confined spaces.
