EAO’s Series 58 single or double glass mounted, touch sensitive door opener is now available with a choice of brightly coloured, robust thermoplastic housings, which immediately focus the user’s attention on the control. The Series 58 is ideally suited to new generation public transport vehicles featuring large expanses of glass.
Using adhesive technology, Series 58 is easily mounted, without the need for cutting holes into the glass, thus delivering benefits in terms of assembly costs. It can be mounted directly onto single glass or even to double-glazing of up to 16mm thick.
Series 58’s thermoplastic housings are available in grey, red, yellow, orange, green and blue. For additional transparency between user and technology, EAO has incorporated into the Series 58 optical feedback LED illumination, resistant to shock and vibration. This illumination turns from green to red when the switch is activated.
The Series 58’s touchpad surface is designed with anodised aluminium that delivers a reassuring tactile feel. The surface is also ideal for the inclusion of permanent legend marking.
Constructed with no moving parts, the Series 58 benefits from longevity of life together with reliability and durability. The switch meets both CE and e1 standards.
