Rittal has introduced a range of UL TopTherm air-to-air heat exchangers with novel aluminium interchangeable heat exchanger modules. Based on the unit sizes and cut-out dimensions of the TopTherm cooling unit generation, the air-to-air range covers from 17.5 to 80W/K. The heat exchangers are adaptable and can be interchanged with the TopTherm cooling units, rendering cut-out modifications obsolete.
Although comprising only three sizes, each can easily be upgraded by using a larger module. For example, modules of 30, 45 and 60W/K can be slotted into one size of unit.
Rittal's heat exchangers are all equipped with an internal circuit protected to IP54. Installation is simple, and as the units consist of two separate air circuits they can be externally or internally mounted on either the enclosure wall or roof. Thermal winding protection on the fan motors is also provided, as an additional safety feature.
The units are available ready for connection along with wiring and cutout drawings.
