High torque stepper motors reduce noise and vibration

Sanyo Denki has introduced new technological advancements to its SANMOTION family of servo and stepping systems, including a high accuracy step angle that reduces noise and vibration and a 50% improvement in torque, resulting in streamlining of machine productivity.

Available in the UK from EAO, SANMOTION, is a complete range of motion control systems, offering high accuracy, efficiency and safety. EAO offers new additions to the family including the SANMOTION F Series 2-phase stepper motors, available in NEMA 17 and 24 frame sizes with 0.9° stepper angle, and NEMA 34 with 1.8° stepper angle. These stepper motors deliver high resolution and high torque, and are suitable for semi-conductor production equipment, conveyors, printing presses, optical measuring instruments, surveillance and medical equipment and general industrial machinery.

EAO’s SANMOTION F NEMA 17 and 24 stepper motors are now available with integrated internal drivers. The space efficient design of both motor and driver allows for compact installation and less wiring. Ease of operation is achieved through a selection function for matching the operation mode to the application.

Available in uni or bipolar winding, SANMOTION’s delivers a holding torque of 0.39Nm in the NEMA 17, 2.15Nm in the NEMA 24 and 9Nm in the NEMA 34.
