Torque synchros for rotation angle control

Torque synchros from Astrosyn International Technology can be used to transmit and receive angular variation data from a rotating shaft with extreme accuracy over a large distance.

Astrosyn’s latest model D1356 is a single shaft synchro which operates on 200/220V at 50/60Hz and features transmitter/receiver TX-TR functionality. It is suitable for use in hot, dusty and humid environments such as ships’ engine rooms, wind tunnels and steel mills.

The model D1356 synchro operates with a maximum receiver angular error of less than 1 degree and has a transmitter/receiver synchronising time of less than 5 seconds.

Electrical connections are via rear-mounted screw terminals and six mounting holes are provided on the motor flange.
