One of Micromech¡¦s most successful planetary gearheads recently underwent complete remodelling. The new LP/LPB-plus offers a further reduction in gearhead backlash (to just 8 arc minutes) and an increase of up to 12% in both nominal and maximum torque. Various mounting options are offered on the output side, and while the output shaft is tailored primarily to belt applications, it also acts as a universal interface in the machine design, allowing machines to be developed economically and quickly.
