One of the critical differences between HepcoMotion’s new LBCG Series of Ball Cage Guides and alternative systems is that the design ensures minimum ball and cage contact. This reduces friction, extends system life and promotes higher load and movement capacities. An important feature is the newly designed ball cage that lowers noise and enables higher running speeds and outstanding accuracy.
LBCG is introduced as part of the established and highly popular HepcoMotion LBG Linear Ball Guide product programme. Unlike standard ballrails, HepcoMotion’s caged system ensures equi-spacing of the balls providing even load distribution and superb smoothness. The design also allows the oil membrane to adhere more easily to the balls whilst in motion, again promoting a long working life and long maintenance intervals.
As well as being offered in a comprehensive range of sizes, precision grades and pre-load options, the LBCG range is interchangeable across international standards. The specifier has the choice of seven options for block configuration including with/without flange, long block, short block and through hole. Five accuracy grades range from normal to ultra high precision and pre-load options from clearance to heavy pre-load.
The second new addition to the LBG range is the LBGM Miniature Linear Ball Guide with Cage. This stainless steel design is ideal for use in measuring machines, medical and electronic equipment as well as automation systems in semi-conductor manufacture. LBGM provides the same operational benefits as the caged ball rail series and includes patented self-lubrication points.
Both additions to the LBG Series are available in a stock range that suits most automation requirements. However, a combination of pre-loads and grades can also be supplied on a short lead time basis to suit individual applications. In line with the entire LBG range, the LBCG and LBGM series are highly competitively priced.
