Ex-rated stainless steel enclosures from CE-TEK UK

The ACEX range of stainless steel enclosures available from CE-TEK UK has been developed over the past 15 years to help reduce project costs whilst still providing a full Ex rating and a protection class of IP66 as standard. Protection to IP67 is also available.

Approvals include:
- Ex II 2GD Ex e IIC T5 and T6,
- Ex II 1G/2D Ex ia IIC T6
- Ex II 2 (1) G/2D Ex ia IIC T6

Manufactured from 316 stainless steel in a range of 27 popular sizes from
110x110x65mm to 1177x777x300mm with the customer choice of an orbital or electro-polished finish. Custom sizes are available on request.

Fire rated versions available to 950°C for 3 hours and meeting BS 6387 CWZ standards.

Although manufactured to exacting technical CEX specifications the ACEX range offers customers a low cost Ex solution that comes equipped with hinges, hank bushes and a return flange which allows water to drain away and provide a knife edge high grade seal.

The range is available with full width, full height gland plates in 3mm to 6mm gaugeas options on all sides.

ACEX can be supplied with component approval, as empty enclosures, or apparatus approval as junction boxes.
