Panasonic releases two new proximity sensors

Panasonic's cylindrical GX-M series inductive proximity sensor is available in M8, M12, M18 and M30 sizes with operating distances of up to 15mm. IP68 rating ensures reliable operation even in the harshest of environments.

Available with either plug in connector or direct cable connection the GX-M offers maximum flexibility of mounting options to meet a wide range of installation requirements.

Meanwhile, the CY-100 M18 photoelectric sensor series with plastic housing offers IP67 protection and covers detection methods, including through-beam, reflective and diffuse reflector, with detection distances up to 15m.

A choice of connector types, mounting accessories and reflectors is available.

To further assist set-up in situ, the diffuse reflector types include a built-in sensitivity adjuster.
