Servomotors with integrated drives

Lenze' fluxxtorque servo system has the control electronics and power stage integrated into a synchronous servo motor. Models are available for 24 and 42V dc operation, which means that they can be used in medical applications and areas where there may be potentially explosive dust. Servomotors with integrated drives are available at 140 and 170W ratings, giving nominal torque of 0.45 and 0.8Nm respectively, but peak torques of 600% or even higher are possible. Communication options are CANbus, Profibus and RS232. The smooth bodied motors require no fan cooling and are enclosed to IP55. Resolver feedback is standard and a holding brake can be supplied as an option.
