Henkel has launched a web-based service to provide distributors of its Loctite brand products with an increased level of support. Once they are registered for the service, distributors can log on to a dedicated web site and access a range of useful information about Loctite products – including the most recent introductions. Designed to be employed as a valuable teaching tool, this easy-to-read background information provides distributors’ staff with the ability to better respond to their customers’ requests.
‘This is an online distributor training course that we’ve called the University of Loctite,’ explains Paul Marshall, Marketing Director at Henkel. ‘The information is conveniently split into a number of modules and includes an end-of-course challenge to test understanding of the adhesive technologies. The emphasis is focused on placing details about our products at the distributors’ finger tips very quickly in order that they can serve their customers to the highest level.’
At present the modules cover the latest additions to the Loctite brand cyanoacrylate range and the pioneering ‘stick’ engineering adhesives products.
‘We’ve launched this service to coincide with the recent major
developments in the cyanoacrylate range, but other adhesive
technologies will be added over a period of time,’ reports Paul Marshall.
He says this new facility is just one part of Henkel’s ongoing commitment of providing the very best support service for its business partners and their customers.
