New power supply units combine high performance with compact design

Covering an input voltage range of 115V through to 400V, the new DIN rail mount primary switched mode power supply units from WAGO are ideal for almost any 50/60Hz power supply application. The 787 series of PSUs are short circuit and open circuit protected and offer a stabilised output voltage of 12V, 24V or 48V (SELV) with 78% efficiency or more depending on the version. The single-phase version is designed for rated currents of 1A to 10A and the three phase units from 10A to 40A. All of the devices comply with EN 50081-1, EN 61000-6-2 and are therefore suitable for a wide range of industrial and building automation applications.

The power supply units are wired using pluggable connectors from the WAGO Multi Connection System range; these are protected against mismating and use the proven CAGE CLAMP® connection. Colour coded primary and secondary connections ensure clear indication and separation from each other.

Lightweight, with a compact yet rugged metal housing and easy DIN rail mounting, this new family of power supply units have UL approvals and can be operated at an ambient temperature of 50°C without derating - ensuring that they are suitable for international applications.
