Guide to attaching pressure transmitters to process pipework

Parker Instrumentation has published a 20-page guide to a new technology for interfacing differential pressure transmitters to process piping. The close-coupled instrument mounting system or CCIMS, eliminates all the 'impulse line' tubing, valve and manifold components conventionally required to attach instruments to an orifice plate. This provides significant gains in installation speed, a reduction in potential leak paths, plus benefits in measurement performance. The guide describes the technology, and the choices of isolation valves, instrument manifolds and flow paths required for various flow measurement applications.
