Brevini's new range of compact tracked motors (CTM) for special and
off-road tracked or self-propelled tyre-equipped vehicle of up to 40
tonnes in weight, will actually fit inside the track sprockets.
These compact rotary case type planetary units utilize multiple gear
stages to achieve the smaller overall dimensions, and can be supplied
with an axial piston or orbital type hydraulic motor and optional brake.
The planetary drive is around 90% efficient and Brevini says there is no
reduction in this efficiency at very low speeds.
