FLIR announces date for next user meeting

A real need for professional ThermaCAM® users to meet and exchange ideas was evident at last year’s inaugural FLIR User Group organised by FLIR Systems. Nearly 100 delegates attended the event and many more have since registered their interest in reconvening in 2006. FLIR Systems response has been to provide the resources for an even bigger meeting that encompasses more customer focus groups.

Building on last year’s success the one-day event will provide a forum for R& D thermography as well a predictive maintenance and condition monitoring. The format of a keynote speech followed by application-specific presentations will again be adopted for both groups. Plant inspection, building and construction and quality assurance typify the applications of group one. The other will cover thermography in the medical, veterinary and other scientific sectors.

The 2nd FLIR User Group meeting will be held at the Motorcycle Museum in the West Midlands on Thursday 29th June 2006; registration from 9.00am for a 9.45am start. Any FLIR Systems’ customer interested in attending should contact FLIR Systems on 01732 221254 or email events@flir.uk.com
