With the success and popularity of its free pan-European educational and demonstration events growing every year, Rockwell Automation is inviting OEMs, system integrators and end users to come and learn about the latest developments in automation and information technology at two regional 'Automation University on Tour' events.
Rockwell Automation's Automation University events are already established entries in many diaries as they have been developed to address the fact that European industry is demanding a more multi-skilled workforce – capable of working within increasingly lean and more agile manufacturing environments. Indeed, this year, a primary focus will show how manufacturing control solutions, with Rockwell Automation’s Integrated Architecture combined with Information Solutions, can help improve an enterprise's automation assets – helping to create lean process while fostering agility and providing exceptional value – and how this integrated approach can revolutionise the way many factories function.
The event overall also offers visitors an excellent opportunity to network with other delegates and technical personnel from similar fields to their own – you can be sure that many of those attending are facing identical issues.
The event will take the form of a variety of hands-on activities with a parallel presentation stream. The hands on labs will include 'Integrating motion into contemporary control systems' and 'Intelligent motor control - the next generation' while the presentations will cover ways of improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE), effective asset management, control solutions in the process industry and software solutions.
The two events will take place at the Hilton Strathclyde, in Bellshill near Glasgow on the 8th June and the Bristol Inn, in Falfield near Bristol on the 20th June. Attendance is FREE but places are limited and fill up very quickly, so register now at http://www.rockwellautomation.co.uk/auontour
