A new series of enclosed safety switches covering rated currents from 20 up to 200A with 3 and 4-pole versions has recently been announced by Tyco Electronics. The new devices are available in three IP65 rated enclosure frame sizes offering excellent insulating properties. Benefiting from large cable clamps, easy to open knock-out glands, a snap-in switch for ease of wiring and cover interlocks in both ‘on’ and ‘padlocked off’ positions, the new safety switches are fully RoHS compliant and meet IEC60947-3 and EN60947-3 standards.
