New touchscreens with surface acoustic wave technology

DisplayTouch has introduced a brand new range of touchscreens utilising surface acoustic wave (SAW) technology to serve customers seeking full two-point touch functionality, durability and aesthetics without the cost-implications of capacitive touch.

The new range will offer screen sizes from 10.1in to 42in in the slim bezel-free design already successful with the DisplayTouch PCAP technology.

SAW is mid-range technology for retail, self-service kiosks, gaming and entertainment applications which don't necessarily need the additional refinements of PCAP. It offers pinch, zoom and swipe gesturing, as well as good durability and longevity.

DisplayTouch is available exclusively from Display Solutions, the company responsible for many of the high street photo kiosks, information points and transportation displays across the UK.
