Camozzi introduces digital electro-pneumatic regulators

Camozzi Pneumatics has extended its range of automation products with the Series ER digital electro-pneumatic regulator. In addition to traditional applications such as continuous force, fluid discharge and fluid pressure control these electro-pneumatic regulators are also increasingly being used in packaging, welding and assembly applications, where there is the need to electronically/remotely control a wider number of parameters such as variable working pressure – leading to increased machine productivity.

Camozzi Series ER regulators are extremely compact and all parameters can be read and set from a user friendly digital display and keypad. Multiple sizes are available depending on the required flow rate. The control pressure range is 0-5 bar or 0.5-9 bar with multiple options available for control signals. If there is no analogue signal the Series ER can also be provided with digital inputs.

Another important feature of the Series ER is the preset memory function which enables the user to switch the regulator between 8 pre-set pressure values using digital inputs. In this mode no analogue signal from the control unit is required which can contribute to reduced costs for the user.

Both analogue and digital outputs are available which can be used for external monitoring. An extra output signal is also available to indicate if an error has occurred in the regulator.
