Nord offers more frequency inverter communications options

Nord Drivesystems is expanding Ethernet communications options for its range of frequency inverters as POWERLINK is made available for the centralised SK 500E and EtherNet/IP is added to the SK 500E as well as the decentralised motor-mounted SK 180E and SK 200E inverters.

Offered as drive-integrated or separate modular Technology Units, these protocols join Profinet and EtherCAT communications options and other fieldbus systems including CANopen, Profibus and DeviceNET for complete flexibility in the choice of automation system design.
