Articulated Robots Offer Six Axes Of Movement

Rexroth has taken its popular TurboScara plus series of articulated robots and added two more axes of movement. The new 6-axis machines - the AR6 and AR8 - offer 650 and 850mm working radii respectively, and both are capable of carrying 5kg payloads at high speeds with a positioning repeatability of +/-0.02mm. Like TurboScara, the AR6 and AR8 have an integral absolute encoder, a button for drive-less teaching and each can be controlled by the IQ200 robot controller. This commonality allows existing TurboScara users to upgrade with ease to the new machines. Click Here for more info using our Online Enquiry Service using number 214
