High torque stepper motors deliver 1.8°/step as standard

The high-torque PKP Series two-phase stepper motor from Oriental Motor offers a standard resolution of 200 steps per revolution (1.8°/step).

The PKP Series generates a high torque that is approximately 1.2 to 1.7 times that of the PK Series standard type of same size.

The advantages of using a high torque motor include lower power consumption and lower heat generation.

If the running current of a PKP Series motor is decreased and the motor is operated at the same torque as the PK Series standard type, current consumption and temperature rise can be reduced.

Power consumption can be reduced by 20 percent (at low speed) and operating temperature can be reduced by up to 10 percent.

Downsizing possibilities
By using a PKP Series motor, which has the same torque as the PK Series standard type, the motor can be downsized. Indee, the motor can be downsized, even if the torque is the same!

SH Geared Type
This geared type is effective for reducing speed, increasing torque, achieving higher resolution and lower vibration.

The SH geared version of the PKP Series has a broader permissible speed range than the SH geared PK Series, and is also easier to use.
