'Portable' blind riveting from Bollhoff
Bollhoff has released an battery operated blind rivet nut setting tool
that gives the operator complete freedom of movement, thanks to the
absence of cables and airlines. The RivNut E308 can set up to M8 sizes in
steel or up to M10 in aluminium with cycle times as fast as two seconds.
A single squeeze or continuously applied pressure on the trigger produces
a consistent 14.5N setting force that is independent of differences in
operator technique. The tool weighs just 2.3kg and is supplied in its own
case, complete with battery charger and a range of mandrels.
