Bollhoff has extended its RivNut series with a range of slotted shank
blind rivet nuts. These are suitable for use in plastics and thin metal
sheet materials, where a strong female thread (M4 to M10) is set securely
from one side of the work piece. On clenching, the slotted shank splays
out into four 'petals' at the rear of the base material, producing a
large bearing surface and ensuring high pull-out resistance.
