The 2006 Profibus International User Conference programme has been announced, for 27 – 28 June at Coombe Abbey in Warwickshire, UK. The presentations are designed for the "User", covering system design, implementation, experience and maintenance. With parallel sessions of presentations, hands-on practical and a Supplier Exhibition, engineers, managers, applications and technical support personnel involved in factory and process plant automation systems, whether currently using fieldbus automation systems or not, will find the conference discussions of real value.
The two day comprehensive, multi-stream educational programme will lead attendees through Profibus from the basic technology, up to its use in real world industrial and process applications. Covering the latest developments in Profibu and ProfiNET technology - including factory and process automation and safety - the programme will have balanced parallel sessions: first Profibus Primers for relative newcomers, where equipment and techniques are demonstrated “hands-on”, using real devices, and second, Master Class discussions for more advanced users.
The programme incorporates papers covering process, manufacturing and materials handling applications using Profibus, ProfiNET, Wireless, AS-Interface and safety technologies, presented by experts in their fields. Abstracts of the proposed papers will be published in advance on the Profibu UK Conference website.
