Low cost SBC for high volume embedded applications

BVM is offering the competitively priced IMB-171 Mini-ITX motherboard. Manufactured by ASRock Industrial, it is based on the Q77 chipset and supports Intel Core i7/i5/i3/Celeron Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge processors in the LGA1155 socket.

Two 204 pin slots accept up to 16GB of Dual Channel DDR3 1066/1333/1600 MHz SDRAM; two SATAII 3.0Gb/s and two SATAIII 6.0Gb/s ports support RAID 0/1/5 configuration hard drives.

HD 5.1 channel audio is provided by a Realtek ALC662 Audio Codec and HD display capability includes HDMI 1.4a and DVI-I at 1920 x 1200. DVI-I to VGA (CRT) is available, enabling both analogue and digital data to be displayed.

Either DVI or DisplayPort at a max resolution of 2560 x 1600 or LVDS up to 2-ch/24-bit at 1920 x 1600 resolution is available.

Multi display is supported, so the cost-effective IMB-171 is ideal for use as the embedded computing engine in volume kiosk, gaming and automation applications. For expansion requirements, a 16-lane PCIe slot and a half-size Mini-PCIe slot are provided onboard.

Two GigaLAN ports provide network connectivity, four USB3.0 and six USB2.0 ports, two RS232/422/485 and two RS232 ports give serial I/O capability. Power is from an external ATX format PSU.
