Fastening without fasteners: it's a clinch!
Bollhoff Fastenings has introduced a hand held tool for clinching flanges
and the edges of sheet metal fabrications. The 'Alien' RivClinch needs
just a 6bar air supply and it is ready to clinch mild steel or aluminium
up to 2.5mm total joint thickness, or a maximum of 1.8mm in stainless
steel. Weighing 1.7kg, the trigger-operated tool has a 360o swivelling
setting head for improved access.
