Optical and electrical connectivity specialist Huber+Suhner has been awarded a contract to supply radio frequency assemblies and connectors predestined for the second series of 236 Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft. The order, the second for the company, is valued at approximately 13 million Swiss Francs and will be processed over the next three to four years. The first order was for the initial series of 100 Eurofighters. These components link the system’s antennas, computers, transmitters, receivers and other components that together constitute the aircraft’s Defensive Aids Sub System.
