Rittal confirms commitment to the environment

With the recent introduction of a new range of IP55 fans & filters that achieve even higher IP protection against water and dust, Rittal has once more proved their innovative capabilities by firming their commitment to the use of only RoHS compliant components for certain types of system climate control solutions.

RoHS is legislation that restricts the use of certain hazardous substances in many plastics and system housings in everyday use. This legislation, effective from 1st July 2006, states the absolute maximum permitted levels of such hazardous substances. Any goods that do not fully comply may have to be scrapped unless they can be reworked.

In line with Rittal’s already existing commitment to the environment, all fans and filters will carry the RoHS Compliant 2002/95/EC sticker.
