Flexible inventory vending solutions from TFC

Using the latest internet based industrial vending technology, TFC's point-of-work dispensing machines are easy to use, easy to implement and affordable.

Our supply chain expertise has for many years been providing significant benefits to customers by reducing costs associated with the purchase, stock-holding and handling of a wide range of low-cost fastening and ancillary items.

This expertise is continually developing as our customers recognise the need for continued savings in the tough economic environment we all find ourselves today. As a result, TFC has recently introduced the latest generation vending machines to handle those essential items that require high maintenance and/or high security.

Unlike most industrial vending machines, which are built on ageing architecture that relies on PC-based technology, complicated data replication schemes and infrequent data updates, our vending technology is an Internet Appliance using the latest and best available technologies that does not depend upon an Microsoft Windows operating system. As a result we provide our customers with a lean, robust solution that is easy to implement and does not require the same levels of support as earlier technologies.

The flexibility of the internal configuration of our machines also means that a wide variety of product can be dispensed from a single screw or drill piece through to items over 2 metres long!

TFC is an expert at recognising logistical and technical problems and we can tailor make a system to suit our customers' needs no matter what the fastener, application or levels of inventory involved. Each business is considered individually to identify and quantify expected cost savings and productivity gains which can typically be:

- Reduction in consumption (10 percent to more than 30 percent)
- Reduction in inventory levels, improved inventory turn rates
- Reduction of product retrieval and waiting times
- Elimination of stock outs and obsolete inventory
- Reduced procurement costs

The business case for point-of-work dispensing goes far beyond the direct savings realised and include:

- 24/7/365 Availability
- Flexible and scalable vending systems
- Accurate, real-time usage, inventory and restocking information is available any time, anywhere from a browser or mobile device.
- Data Gathering for Lean and Six Sigma Initiatives and other Process Improvements
- Cost Avoidance (reduce staffing for off-shifts and weekends and reduce overtime)
- Reclaim storage space for production areas
- Easy to implement and support with low operating costs
