New high-speed, high sensitivity dual linescan cameras

Dual linescan cameras from Stemmer Imaging offer high dynamic range for demanding applications, from flat panel inspection to wide web inspection.

The Piranha 4 dual linescan cameras, which are available from Stemmer Imaging, are high performance CMOS sensors offering high dynamic range for demanding applications such as flat panel inspection, printed circuit board inspection, solar cell inspection and narrow and wide web inspection.

Features at-a-glance:

- Dual line scan CMOS camera, fast and responsive
- 8k resolution with a 7µm x 7µm pixel size for optimised optical design
- Delivers a maximum line rate of 70 kHz in a high responsivity summing mode
- Delivers a throughput of 573 Megapixel/s using CameraLink interface
- Precise sensor alignment simplifies multiple camera calibration at the system level
- Based on Teledyne DALSA's novel line scan CMOS sensor architecture
- Provides outstanding signal-?to-noise for high speed imaging
- Easy to setup, control, and integrate due to advanced GenICam compliant interface
- Programmability includes exposure control, flat field correction, and gain settings
- Inspects and detects with high precision, speed, and responsiveness

The Piranha4 has features to ease system integration. An advanced GenICam compliant user interface makes it easy to set up and control camera parameters such as exposure control, FFC, white balance, gain, test patterns, diagnostics and more. Precise sensor alignment across X/Y/Z axes allows reliable, optimised performance in multi-camera systems.
