The dates and venues for 2013 are:
- 19 March 2013 – The National Railway Museum, York
- 11 June 2013 – Museum of the Great Western Railway, Swindon
- 11 September 2013 – Museum of Science and Industry, Manchester
- 15 October 2013 – National Space Centre, Leicester
Attendance costs £70, for which delegates receive entry to the day-long seminar, a delegate stationery pack, food and drink throughout the day, a chance to speak with machine safety experts, and free access to the venue.
Tough economic conditions are likely to continue in 2013 but, when it comes to machine safety, there are important reasons to continue developing machinery safety competence. The need to comply with regulations is one but, more subtly, competence and safe machine designs can bring benefits through improved ergonomics, staff morale and productivity.
Visit the website to find out more about the benefits of competence, the 2013 Machinery Safety Seminars and to read feedback on the 2012 seminars.
As in 2012, members of the alliance presenting at the seminars will be Pilz, Festo, Fortress Interlocks, Werma and Troax. This year, the seminars will include the participation of the Health and Safety Executive, rather than the Health and Safety Laboratory.
