Power over Ethernet transformers save hardware costs

TScomponents, in conjunction with the  ETAL group, has developed two new PoE (Power over Ethernet) transformers, which can be connected over standard Category 5 cable to eliminate the need for extra power outlets and costly additional cabling. Once a device is connected  to a network it can be made available to many users.

These modified isolation transformers have many applications, including powered transmission for HD security cameras, network routers, physical security devices and the linking of network time protocol clocks.
