Precision, low-speed hydraulic motors from JBJ Techniques

Low speed, high torque (LSHT) Dusterloh hydraulic motors, which are available in the UK from JBJ Techniques, offer fixed and adjustable displacement.

The KM series radial piston motors (Types KM11 - KM110), which conform with ATEX directive 94/9/EC (applied standards EN 1127-1, EN 13463-1, EN 13463-5), are available in a new High Precision version for use, as standard, for stable speeds significantly less than 1rpm. These products are also available with servo regulation to give the ultimate in low speed performance.

These precision drives are suitable for test rig applications where accurate speed regulation is critical.

The comprehensive RM series of radial piston motors (Types RM80N - RM5000X) offer a choice of shafts, with double shaft extension if required. Motor and brake combinations can be provided, as well as geared motors configurations and brake combinations.

Other features include: tachometer and other measuring attachments; couplings and flanges; Viton seals; direct valve assembly if required, and SAE J 518 high pressure connections (type: A1). Special models are available for use with HFB and HFC non-flammable fluids.

Design modifications in the flow control inside the motor as well as in the arrangement of the pistons have significantly improved the rotational speed stability. In addition, the speed range has been extended downwards. The standard motor, for example, is able to run at a minimum speed of 5rpm.

The high precision motor, on the other hand, can achieve speeds significantly lower than 1rpm while offering superior speed stability, even in unregulated operation. The maximum speed is 2,000rpm, depending on the motor size.
