UPS provides power backup for up to 30 minutes at 40A

Weidmüller's uninterruptible power supply (DC-UPS) ensures that a 24V DC power supply is available to maintain automation applications for a pre-defined period of time.

The maintenance-free module is suitable for short interruptions in the range of several 100 milliseconds, and combined with a battery module, bridges longer mains power failures, providing 40A for 30 minutes or 1A for 30 hours, depending on the requirement.

A range of battery modules is available with capacities from 3.4 to 17Ah. The DC-UPS monitors battery temperature and automatically moderates the charging voltage accordingly. to the temperature compensated charging recognition, which maximises the battery lifetime. Other features protect against over-discharge and deep-discharge, reverse polarity and power overload.
