Making power distribution assemblies easy, quick and safe

The Schurter 6610 is a first-of-its-kind appliance outlet. It uses IDC terminal technology, which supports a more efficient, less labour intensive assembly method.

Multiple outlets can be banked and the wire connections can be bussed, allowing the terminals to be connected all at once for power distribution units and appliances with multiple power outputs.

The IEC F appliance outlet is equipped with IDC terminals and is available in two different wiring version:, 'along' and 'across' in relation to the connector pin axis. The terminals accept insulated solid wires with cross section AWG12/2.5mm2 and AWG16/1.0 – 1.5mm2.

The component is designed for snap-in mounting and comes with a protective cover to prevent electric shock. Special versions with an individual quick connect or solder line terminal are available. The series has ENEC and cURus approvals and is suitable for applications in accordance with IEC/EN 60950.
